I am pleased that Kristen and Tish at Progression For Life were honored with the Golden Key Award for Provider of the Year. They are currently working with my 19-year-old daughter, Abby, who has autism. Abby felt comfortable with them from their very first meeting, which is rare for her. Kristen and Tish use all their knowledge and resources to help Abby develop life skills and become more independent. They are reliable and consistent, which is incredibly important for Abby, as she thrives on routine. They gently encourage her to step outside her comfort zone, helping her grow at a pace that feels safe and manageable. It’s clear that they care about her physical and emotional safety. When Abby encountered setbacks with starting her new job, they did not give up. They communicated openly with the employer, with me, with Abby, and even consulted colleagues in the field to find the best way to support her through the transition. It is heartwarming to see how much they genuinely care about Abby. I have always known how incredible and funny Abby is, and I love that others see it now too.

Tish and Kristen are some of the best people I have had the pleasure of getting to know through my daughter. They are amazing individuals. They work very well with my autistic daughter. They are kind, compassionate, understanding, helpful, and above all they take the time to truly get to know McKayla. If you ever have the opportunity to get to know or work with them, you will not regret it.

Parent testimonial
Kristen and Tish made a meaningful difference by taking the time to talk through Rebeccah’s needs and identify simple but important safety concerns in the workplace, including tripping hazards and fire extinguisher access. Their attention to detail and proactive communication helped create a safer environment and opened up more possibilities for what Rebeccah could do.
